1. Acceptance

By using BarcodeSheets.com ("BarcodeSheets", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. There's no account and nothing to sign — using the tools is the only "acceptance" step there is.

2. What BarcodeSheets is

A free, browser-based set of tools for generating barcodes (single, bulk from a spreadsheet, or as print-ready Avery label sheets) and related utilities (e.g. scan-verification). Everything runs client-side — see our privacy policy for exactly what that means for your data.

3. License to the barcodes you generate

Barcodes you generate using BarcodeSheets are yours. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes — including on products you sell, packaging, or in your own software — without attribution to us and without paying us anything. We claim no rights over the barcode images or data you create here.

Generating a barcode image is not the same thing as registering it. We make no warranty that a generated barcode (GTIN, UPC, EAN, or otherwise) is, or entitles you to, a valid, GS1-registered identifier. If you plan to sell through retail channels or marketplaces that require a real GS1-licensed number, you need a separate GS1 membership — see our GS1 guide.

4. No account, no uploads

There is no sign-up and no server-side storage of what you create; files and barcode data you enter are processed only in your own browser. See the privacy policy for the full detail, including our optional, consent-based analytics.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

BarcodeSheets is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every generated barcode will scan correctly on every possible scanner or device. We follow published symbology specifications and check-digit algorithms, but scanner hardware and print quality are outside our control.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of BarcodeSheets. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Beyond that, liability for ordinary negligence is limited to damages that were foreseeable and typical for a free tool of this kind.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms or the service itself at any time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date below; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of BarcodeSheets, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer, any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected by this choice of law.
