How a count works
Type or scan a code and it becomes a row; scan it again and the quantity goes up by one. Fix a quantity by hand whenever a box holds more than one, remove a row you scanned by mistake, and download the finished count as CSV or Excel. The count is saved in this browser as you go, so a locked phone or a closed tab doesn't lose it — come back and pick up where you left off.
Works with any barcode scanner
USB and Bluetooth barcode scanners type the code and press Enter, exactly like a keyboard, so with the code field focused every scan lands as a row. On a phone or tablet, the camera scans continuously: each hit beeps and vibrates, and a barcode left in the frame is counted once, not on every frame.
Counting against a list
Upload the list you expect — a CSV or Excel export from your shop, inventory or accounting system — and pick the columns for the code, the expected quantity and the name. The review table then shows every item as matched, short, over, not counted, or not on the list, and a filter shows only the differences. The exported file carries expected, counted and difference for every row.
Everything stays on your device
The list you upload and every code you scan are processed in your browser and saved only in this browser's local storage. Nothing is uploaded, and finishing a count clears it from the device. Usage analytics, where you've allowed them, record that a count happened and how big it was — never a code, a name, a file name or your count's label.
